New Book Provides Children Ski Safety Advice

After writing about so many tragedies this ski season, it is a welcome change to write about something fun and helpful. Mary Palmer has written a ski safety book for children. Safely Ski from A to Z is a hardcover children's book for little skiers under the age of six.

The text is written in short sentences for each letter of the alphabet, all associated with skiing and most with a safety message. As a mother of four, my personal assessment is that it is just the right amount of information for the pre-kindergarten audience. And the format and illustrations make it an easy read to little ones.

If you are concerned about the content arising from one mother's opinion, be reassured. The book has been endorsed by the National Ski Patrol. A copy of Safely Ski from A to Z can be purchased on Amazon.com
